Sidetracked can offer your School a 3 pronged initiative that will satisfy your requirements of planning 1. – School excursions, 2. – Student activities or complimentary learning experiences, or 3. – The always important Fund Raising.
We understand that some excursions can be expensive so we have produced a special ‘Schools Price List’ keeping in mind that you are looking to come in during normal school hours when we are not generally busy.
We are recognised as one of Australia’s premier Indoor Entertainment Centres and can provide both recreational activities and lessons based on, for example, the mathematics of acceleration and G-forces (Newtons Laws) or reflection and refraction of light. We can complement and enhance the work that teachers do in the classroom – and collaborate with you to make off-site learning FUN!
Sidetracked offers:
- Indoor Go-Karting – Age / Skill appropriate circuits – Rookie (10yo +) Formula 3000 Phase 1 (13yo +) and Formula 300 Phase 2 (16yo +)
- Laserforce (Lasertag) – Sidetracked has been acknowledged as one of the best Lasertag arenas in the world
- Other Activities – We specialise also in Dodgem Cars, Tenpin Bowling, Mini Golf, Video Computer Games, and an in-house Café.
- Educational Excursions – We can collaborate with teachers to present informative and hands-on lessons in Physics, Basic Mechanics and other subject areas
- Excursions – We can accommodate up to 350 students, making it the perfect venue for grade, year-level or whole-of-school events. Many schools regularly book the entire centre for special occasions, such as mid-tear or end-of-tear team-building or simply fun celebrations
- Driver Education – We can tailor a package to serve as a hands-on introduction to the moving vehicle, developing an understanding of the principles of driving and giving a basic understanding of road rules and etiquette
