Scone Public School

Scone Public School is located in the Upper Hunter with a current student enrolment of 405 students, 13% identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school has seventeen mainstream classes and one support class.  Scone Public School has a range of experienced and early career teachers who engage in innovative pedagogy such as Quality Teaching Rounds and Visible Learning.  The school is a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) School with high expectations and a strong focus on the teaching of literacy and numeracy including data driven evidence-based teaching practices. The school enjoys strong support from and engagement with parents and the wider community.
