Schools can choose from two types of books; Individual Books, which allow each student to create their own personalised content or Group Books, which allow participants to contribute one or several pages towards a compilation of works. There is also the option to personalise Group Books through individual covers.
A valuable teaching tool: Students work online throughout the year in their own personal portfolio while teachers set tasks, mark, edit and comment on their work. Teachers may also tailor tasks to suit individual learning needs and invite parents online to view and comment on their child's progress. It is easy enough for all students and can be applied to the curriculum in almost every subject. Students receive a professionally printed book at the end of the year.
Fundraising that feeds the mind: Do away with unhealthy fundraisers and get kids excited about reading and writing at the same time. SYS is a unique fundraising project that is win, win. Students not only benefit from money raised, but from the activity itself. Your whole school community can get involved by sharing recipes, short stories, poems, artwork, school memories...anything imaginable. All profits from book sales go back to your school and printing costs are easily offset through sponsorships, increasing your proceeds.
All ordering is done online so there is no need for forms or money collection. School achievements and memories are beautifully bound in a book that will become a cherished keepsake, making an excellent gift for family and friends.
Teachers, students and parents will take pride in the books they have helped create, in turn enhancing your school image and the confidence of your students.
