Scarborough Public School provides a quality, future–focused public education for students from a cluster of Wollongong's Northern communities. In 2019, our small school has enrolment of 65 students, with just 1.5% of our students being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Scarborough Public School has high expectations for all students and takes a holistic and nurturing approach to learning, with a strong emphasis on student wellbeing. Our aim is to prepare students to innovate, collaborate, think critically and creatively, enabling them to see the big picture around them. Despite our low Aboriginal population, we feel very strongly about the effective and authentic integration of Aboriginal culture and history in everything we do. We pride ourselves on our ability to differentiate for all learners within the classroom.
