Richmond High School is comprehensive secondary school with an enrolment of 630 students from a local enrolment area consisting of semi-rural and suburban environments. The school caters for a diverse range of students including 63 Aboriginal students and students placed in 5 Support Classes for intellectual disability and autism. There are a range of opportunities for students to engage in extra curricula activities including student leadership, outdoor education and community based programs. The staff are committed to quality teaching, innovation and maintaining a caring, supportive environment through the Positive Behaviour for Learning program. The focus on literacy, numeracy and the use of technology in learning is providing a strong basis for current professional learning. A learning centre with an expert staff provides personalised learning support for students of all ability levels.
