Penrith Public School has an enrolment of 463 students, including 45 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 79 students from non-English speaking backgrounds. The school has two hearing classes and two multicategorical classes. Penrith Public School is seen as a community hub and provides a comprehensive Transition to School program. The school has a culture of inclusivity and the dedicated staff are committed to supporting all students to achieve their personal best through quality teaching practice and focus programs: literacy, numeracy, student wellbeing, performing arts and student leadership. The school is supported by a dedicated Parents and Citizens' Association and continues to build productive relationships in the wider community.
