Pendle Hill Public School has a committed staff and strong programs to support inclusion of its diverse multicultural community. School priorities include individualised and self-directed learning, explicit and innovative teaching, and well-being initiatives to support participation and engagement.
The school has an enrolment of 334 students and 81 % of students are from a non-English speaking background. The school has an established early intervention support class, which caters for preschool students with additional needs, and two multi-categorical support classes established in 2019, which cater for K-6 students with moderate to high support needs. Additionally the school has a preschool, which provides a quality early learning environment for students. The school is undergoing a major capital works program to be completed in early 2020.
