Peak Hill Central School is a vibrant and unique Kindergarten to Year 12 central school. We are proud of our students, our positive school culture, and our achievements. Students in Years 11 and 12 form part of the Western Access Program for curriculum delivery across 5 schools via video-conferencing facilities. The student enrolment for Peak Hill Central School totals 117 with 58 students in the primary and 59 students in the secondary school. 70% of students are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students.

The school has a strategic focus on continuous improvement in literacy, numeracy and quality curriculum delivery and teaching to ensure that all students have the capacity to reach their full academic potential. Teacher performance and development focuses on high quality research based professional learning opportunities which enhance teacher leadership and collaboration.
