Northlakes Public School is a well-resourced school on the Central Coast of NSW serving the San Remo community. With an enrolment of 373 students, including 20% Aboriginal students, the school is a proud member of the Wallarah Learning Community and enjoys strong links with the Muru Bulbi AECG.

In addition to our 15 mainstream classes, Northlakes also has a support unit comprising three classes supporting students with moderate to severe intellectual and/or physical disabilities and autism. The school is part of the Central Coast Schools as Community Centres initiative which provides support for parents/care providers through various partnerships with government and non-government organisations.

With Early Action for Success (EAfS) and Achievement Via Individual Determination (AVID) in the sixth year of implementation, the school has a strong focus on quality teaching and learning. With over 90% of PL around reading, writing and mathematics provided by our own on staff experts, there is a high level of collective teacher efficacy for improving student outcomes. PL is focused on our priorities of reading, writing and mathematics and is differentiated depending on individual teacher needs.
