Newcastle Junior School

Newcastle School comprises three individual school sites catering for the needs of 170 students (P-12), with a moderate to severe intellectual disability and complex learning and support needs. The Newcastle Junior School site, located in Hillsborough caters for 63 students from pre-school to year 4.

The learning needs of students are identified through individual learning plans and implemented through careful and considerate collaborative planning. School programs are guided by the individual needs of students. Developing pathways and opportunities for success is a priority of Newcastle Junior School.
