Naremburn School is a school for specific purposes that provides specialist and intensive support in a dedicated setting for up to 35 students in years 7 to 12 with moderate to high learning and support needs with a focus on behaviour.
Students are referred to Naremburn School where they are provided with intensive behavioural support, vocational preparation and an educational program which meets NESA outcomes in a structured and supportive classroom environment.
Naremburn School develops educational programs using a range of strategies including teacher expertise, NESA resources, hands-on activities, excursions, distance education (for Years 9 to 12), and other resources. The delivery of the educational curriculum addresses the individual needs and strengths of each student. Students are able to access their Record of School Achievement (RoSA) which is individualised, depending on their needs and goals. Senior students are able to access the Higher School Certificate (HSC)
