Established in 1884, Nambucca Heads Public School is located on the Mid North Coast of NSW and has a valued place within the traditions and culture of the local community. The school has an enrolment of 280 students with approximately 22% identifying as Aboriginal. We have a strong tradition of providing quality education and offer a wide range of sporting and cultural opportunities for all children. Nambucca Heads Public School has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, supported through its Professional Learning Community structure and Early Action For Success. In the recent External Validation the school was found to be achieving excellence in eight of the fourteen elements. Student wellbeing is enhanced through Positive Behaviour for Learning. The school has a supportive and active Parents and Citizens Association and Aboriginal Advisory Group.
