Mount Terry Public School has an enrolment of 720 students with 6% identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The school is located in the growing area of Albion Park and works in strong collaboration with the Albion Park Community of Schools. Mount Terry Public School has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy improvement and is part of the Bump it Up strategy.
The school has a dedicated staff who value professional learning and the explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy skills to maximise the achievement of all students.
The
teaching staff includes early career teachers through to very experienced
educators. An emphasis is also placed on successful sporting, creative and performing
arts, environmental and welfare programs. By providing a holistic approach to
learning, students establish a sense of self and a place in the global
