Mona Vale Public School is situated on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and is a proud member of the Peninsula Community of Schools. An enrolment of 1131 students, within 48 classes, including two OC classes and a Support Unit. There is a class for students with a moderate intellectual disability (IO) and two classes for students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU).
The school maximises learning outcomes for all students through the implementation of literacy and numeracy programs based on quality teaching principles. The school works closely with its Parents and Citizensâ Association to support high expectations for all students and their ability to strive for their personal best. The staff values professionalism, collaboration and a commitment to developing the whole child through a variety of wellbeing initiatives and extracurricular activities. Mona Vale Public School prides itself in its Creative and Performing Arts as well as Sport programs where secondary trained teachers provide many opportunities for students through Release from Face-to-Face teaching.
