Miranda North Public School has 360 students enrolled and is located in Sydney’s southern suburbs. One quarter of students are from language backgrounds other than English. The school has a strong focus on evidence-informed practices for the teaching of literacy and numeracy and an emphasis on embedding 4C-future focussed learning. Student wellbeing underpins the curriculum and programs are in place to support students to connect, succeed and thrive. There is a range of tiered programs to support student learning and highly inclusive extra-curricula activities to promote student engagement.
Staff at Miranda North PS work in a collaborative, collegial manner and there is a range of experience, including early career teachers. The staff is committed to school improvement and enhancing student learning through quality teaching and transforming learning pedagogy.
