The camp has numerous activities on offer to suit a variety of educational and recreational requirements. LOCATION
Minjerribah Holiday Camp is situated in Dunwich on the bay side of North Stradbroke Island which is located approximately one hour from Brisbane. The island can be accessed via water taxi or vehicle ferry, which depart regularly (seven days a week) from Toondah Harbour in Cleveland.
DAY TRIPS/EXCURSIONS
We are happy to facilitate day trips to the island, offering activities relating to Aboriginal culture and island history, environment and ecology or outdoor recreation. A number of activities are within walking distance of the camp and water taxi, other activities can be accessed using the island bus service.
SCHOOL CAMPS
We aim to provide a personalised camp experience that meets your group's requirements, educational objectives and budget. We can assist with many aspects of camp planning, including transport to and around the island, itinerary design, paid activity bookings, and ideas for self-guided activities to keep the budget in check. We also offer a range of camp packages inclusive of meals, accommodation and a selection of activities.

The centre offers dormitory style accommodation for up to 160 people on a 2-3 person share basis. All rooms open onto external walkways. Female amenities are located upstairs and male amenities are downstairs. A staff en suite is also located upstairs.
The dining hall comfortably seats 100 with adjoining activity room and covered outdoor area providing additional seating when required.
The green room holds the washing up facilities and is a complimentary tea and coffee room open 24 hours a day.
Only a short walk from the camp are the sports oval, basketball/tennis/squash courts, gym, ocean swimming enclosure and community hall.
At Minjerribah we offer a wide range of educational, ecological, environmental, adventure, historical, team building, social and cultural experiences including recreational and sporting activities.
Activites include ecological studies, Aboriginal culture talks, historical walks, museum tours, sand mining talks, team initiatives, kayaking, raft building, rock climbing wall, Aboriginal dance workshops and many more.

We offer a sumptuous and plentiful buffet-style menu prepared by experienced caterers. We endeavour to cater to special dietary requirements with adapted meals. BBQ and picnic lunches can be delivered to various locations on the island, so as not to disrupt activity schedules.
