Marulan Public School is a small TP2 rural school situated 20 minutes drive north of Goulburn. It currently supports an enrolment of 103 students including 7 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The school FOEI is 139. The school has 4 mainstream classes and a Multi Categorical support class. 7 teaching staff, including the principal are currently employed at the school as well as several support staff. Students are drawn from the village of Marulan and surrounding properties. The school has a focus on Creativity, Curiosity, Collaboration, Communication and Critical Thinking. There is a strong music and performing arts tradition and a reputation for significant success in sport. A range of wellbeing and academic programs support all students including those with additional learning needs and to extend and challenge individuals who demonstrate particular interests and aptitudes. Marulan Public School has a strong relationship with the Goulburn Community of Public Schools as well as its local community. The school successfully completed an External Validation process in term 3 2020.
