Marsden High School is a coeducational inclusive and culturally diverse high school with 815 students from 7-12, plus an Intensive English Centre. We have structured EAL/D and multicultural support as seventy percent of students come from a language base other than English and the school employs an Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer to ensure all Aboriginal students are well supported. Focus areas within the school include differentiated future focused curriculum, student wellbeing, STEM, C21st teaching and learning by incorporating technology into our lessons, engaging in community minded activities and providing challenging curricular and extracurricular activities. Marsden is a Positive Behaviour for Learners (PB4L) School with a whole school emphasis on literacy, numeracy, enrichment, Science and Leadership. There is a strong community support as the school experiences growth in enrichment and curricula.
