Manly Vale Public School is a newly built school in a bushland setting which is rapidly growing. It is located on Sydney's northern beaches right next to Manly Dam and currently has 524 students with a capacity to accommodate up to 1000 students. Manly Vale Public School has a very active and involved school community who are supportive of the school and all school initiatives. Teachers at Manly Vale Public School are engaged in ongoing professional learning in future focussed teaching strategies to implement the K-6 syllabus documents. The newly built school has flexible learning spaces and supports collaborative teaching and learning environments. The school is currently implementing 1:1 devices (including laptops and iPads) in all classrooms. Differentiated learning is provided in all lessons with the support of an active Learning and Support team, and a Higher Order Thinking team of teachers. Positive well-being programs are encouraged in all classrooms. There is a strong focus on environmental studies and science programs.
