Maitland High School

Maitland High School is a comprehensive 7 - 12 high school with an enrolment of 1015 students, including 15 % Aboriginal students, five Special Education classes and serves a socio-educationally diverse community. The school has a rich history and a strong position in the community which provides a stable platform for the school to look to the future. The school motto, "En Avant" encapsulates the school's aim to develop a sense of future: of capacity, achievement and success in all students. The school’s strategic plan: “Successful Teachers; Successful Students; Successful School” captures our focus on continual improvement, starting with excellence in teaching practice.
