Mainsbridge School is a school for specific purposes (SSP), located in the Liverpool area, that provides quality education for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and complex health conditions.  A current enrolment of 106 students, creating 17 classes across K-12. The school population consists of 94% of students from a non-English speaking background, with the most common languages being Arabic and Vietnamese.

An exciting opportunity exists for three creative and enthusiastic teachers to join our team at Mainsbridge School in 2021 as we relocate to a new purpose-built school in the suburb of Warwick Farm. The new facility will incorporate three additional classes, specialised assistive technologies and state of the art facilities including an indoor hydrotherapy pool, immersive learning space, multipurpose hall, and flexible learning spaces.

Teaching and learning at Mainsbridge School is based on a holistic and collaborative approach to quality teaching and personalised learning.

The school employs a variety of evidence-based practices through a series of curricula frameworks that address all mandatory aspects of NSW NESA curriculum and incorporate augmentative learning methods. Mainsbridge School engages in strong collaborations with parents, students and the wider community to maximise and support learning opportunities.
