Hands-on learning that brings the Victorian Curriculum to life
Linked Incursions delivers interactive, curriculum-aligned programs to primary schools across Victoria. Our presenters bring everything needed for a fun, engaging session where students learn by doing. We specialise in Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business, Digital Technologies, Ethical Capability, and more.
Teachers love our clear links to achievement standards, smooth delivery, and classroom-ready activities. Students love that our sessions feel like games, challenges, and adventures.
We visit schools across Melbourne and regional Victoria, with full day and half day bookings available.
Our programs
Parliament Process (Years 5–6)
Students become Members of Parliament as they explore how laws are made. They form parties, debate bills, and vote in a fast-paced simulation that makes civics feel real. Perfect for assessment in democratic decision-making and government structure.
Parliament Experts (Years 5–6)
A deeper dive into parliamentary roles. Students become Ministers, Independents, Speakers and Clerks as they work through committee inquiries and media challenges. Great for classes wanting an extension option after Parliament Process.
Parliament DAY (Years 5–6)
A full-day experience combining Process and Experts. Students move from learning the basics to taking on advanced parliamentary roles for an end-of-day mega-debate.
Democracy: Community and Me (Years 3–4)
A playful introduction to democratic values. Students vote, role-play community decision-making, and explore fairness, rules, and responsibilities. Ideal for Level 3/4 Civics and Citizenship.
Market Manoeuvres(Years 5–6)
The economy comes alive in this fast-paced trading game. Students run small businesses, respond to supply and demand, and make decisions under pressure. Links directly to the Economics and Business curriculum.
Code Masters (Years 3–6)
A robotics and coding adventure. Students crack binary codes, get to grips with algorithms, and driverobots through a series of challenges. No prior tech experience required.
Immigration Journeys (Years 5–6)
A hands-on exploration of migration stories, citizenship, and Australian identity. Students work with props, timelines, data sets, and group challenges to build a deeper understanding of why people move to Australia.
Full STEAM Ahead (Years 1–6)
A design-and-build STEM session where students create LEGO cars, test forces, and troubleshoot designs. High-energy, practical, and perfect for classes that love hands-on learning.
Virtual incursions
We also offer engaging online programs, perfect for remote learning, regional schools, and flexible classroom delivery. These sessions include live facilitation, interactive components, and digital resources that keep students involved from start to finish.
Virtual Parliament Process (Years 5–6)
Designed to help students understand electoral and government processes without needing a physical setup.
Virtual Democracy, Community and Me (Years 3–4)
An interactive introduction to democratic values, decision-making, and community rules. Students participate in digital activities that mirror our in-person “Democracy, Community and Me” incursion.
