Lindfield Public School has an enrolment of 830 students, of
which 52% are from a non-English speaking background. It has an outstanding
tradition of academic excellence. The students enjoy a safe, inclusive and
nurturing environment. Student learning is enhanced by utilising the latest
technologies in all curriculum areas. Focus areas for 2020 will include Writing,
Growth Mindset, Resilience, STEAM, Visible Learning and formative assessment. There
is a committed, innovative and highly qualified team of teachers. The students
thrive in an environment which offers a wide range of extra-curricular
activities, such as: award-winning music programs, environmental projects, debating and public speaking, choirs, dance,
swimming, Physical Education and Gifted and Talented programs. Student
wellbeing programs include Positive Behaviour for Engaging Learning (PBEL)
incorporating the expectations of Respect, Organised, Aspire and Responsibility
and The Resilience Project. Lindfield Public School values the high level of
involvement and support from parents and the community. Parents are encouraged
to take an active role within the school and be valued participants in their
