Kirrawee Public School is located in the southern Sydney Region of NSW. In 2019 the school enrolment of 262 students with 22% having a language background other than English and 8% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background. Learning and well-being are at the forefront of all that occurs at the school.

Staff are committed to the continual improvement of school initiatives and ongoing professional learning to deliver high quality, innovative classroom programs. Opportunities exist for students in art, dance, music, sport, public speaking and student leadership. A learning support program for students in need of additional assistance caters for students’ social, emotional and learning needs.
The school has a special education unit with 1 Mild Intellectual class (IM), 2 Moderate Intellectual classes (IO). The school’s facilities offer fully air-conditioned classrooms, a fully equipped sensory room, consulting rooms and interactive whiteboards. A before and after school care program is also well supported.
