Kingswood South Public School is located in Penrith and has a current school enrolment 360 students. The school is a P to 6 learning environment that includes a Preschool, a Special Education unit with 5 classes catering for students with disabilities including Autism and Emotional Behaviour Disorders, 12 mainstream classes, the Penrith Hearing and Vision Teams, Braille Interpreter and the District Guidance Officer. Our school's 3 strategic Directions are Teaching, Learning and Wellbeing. A strong emphasis is placed on Inclusivity throughout our school. Our student welfare program has a PBL focus and the school culture is based on the core values of Respect, Safety and Responsibility. Literacy and Numeracy programs continue to provide the foundation of the school's curriculum with a strong focus on 21st Century Learning pedagogy and learning skills. Students are involved in District events such as PSSA Sport, Creative Arts, Public Speaking and Debating programs.
