Kingsgrove Public School is a K-6 school with an enrolment of approximately 500 students of whom 78% have language backgrounds other than English and 3% have Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island background. The school is located across two sites with K-2 and 3-6 sites a short walk apart. Our school vision is to develop future focused learning in a caring and inclusive multicultural community. The school has a STEM centre to provide students a wide range of ICT learning activities and implements Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), Targeted Early Numeracy (TEN) and Language Literacy and Learning (L3) programs. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular programs including choir, dance, school band, public speaking and varied sporting activities including PSSA. The school is supported by a proactive P&C who are working with the school to enhance parent engagement.
