At Jindera Public School, we strive to provide an environment which is safe, supportive and inclusive for all. We serve a diverse and changing school community in a pleasant rural setting 20 kilometres from Albury on the New South Wales / Victorian border. Current enrolments are around 170 students, with strong projections of enrolment growth into the future. The school currently has seven mainstream classes and one multi-categorical class.
The school is currently implementing a range of processes and programs; Curiosity and Powerful Learning, Positive Behaviour for Learning and the Berry Street Educational Model. Our focus is on how students learn and the scaffolding they require to become independent, resilient and responsible learners.
Our whole school values of respect, resilience, relationships and responsibility are the foundation of our school and community wellbeing systems, expectations and practices. These values allow our school to strengthen our relationship with the broader community and support our students to become self-motivated learners.
