InspirationEd (formerly HSC in the Holidays) was born out of a need to help students and parents through the HSC. In 2005, without knowing what kind of company we would eventually become, we knew one thing for sure: high stakes testing is stressful and students and parents need help!
As parents, teachers and HSC markers, we also knew it took a village to help students reach their full potential. So we started out by delivering lectures to help students discover proven strategies for exam success. Parents and teachers welcomed the help, and students directly benefited. It was a simple but powerful idea that took off because it delivered results.
Today, we deliver these lectures through a network of over 70 senior teachers and examiners in partnership with Australia’s leading universities. Nothing makes us prouder than helping thousands of students achieve the ATAR scores they want and deserve.
In 2020, following the release of a new suite of online learning tools and resources, we renamed our company from “HSC in the Holidays” to “InspirationEd”. Our name change reflected not just more tools and resources, but also how we want students to feel when they’re using them. We want every student who comes into contact with us to be inspired to do greater things than they even thought possible. In every educational experience that we deliver, we work hard to shine a light on individual potential, a growth mindset, and resilience.
Now that we've grown up we know what kind of company we are! We are a student success company. From lectures about how to blitz exams, to online practice and preparation for exams, to online tutoring, to bringing students, parents, schools, and universities together through a virtual careers expo; we are all about student success.
