Illabo
Public School is in the Gundagai
Principals Network of the Rural South and West Operational Directorate. It
is a rural school, situated
in the village of Illabo. Illabo Public School sits beside the Olympic highway between Junee and
Cootamundra in the south west slopes of NSW. The school enjoys strong
community support, engagement and involvement.

Public School has a Teaching Principal and team of dedicated staff. There
are 36 students enrolled at the school currently in two cross–stage classes,
K-2 and Years 3-6. Illabo Public School is committed to delivering
quality educational programs to develop each student’s literacy and numeracy
ability by providing an opportunity for highly individualised and
differentiated learning programs to suit each learners' development. The school is committed to providing a nurturing learning
environment that meets the educational needs of all children. This is
achieved through fostering strong relationships between the staff,
students and parents to ensures the school delivers an environment where the
academic, social and emotional growth of every child is the focus.
Illabo Public School is a proud member of the Ngumba-Dal Learning Community and an active participant in the local network of schools. The school has an active P&C committee who are committed to supporting the school and students.
