Huskisson Public School is in the heart of the idyllic coastal village of Huskisson on the shores of Jervis Bay 2 ½ hours south of Sydney. The school offers an inclusive environment where students with significant learning adjustments are integrated into mainstream classes.
Huskisson Public School has an enrolment of 194 students with 11% Aboriginal and 6% EALD, the classes are organised into 8 stage based classes with SLSO support in each class. The P&C committee is highly committed to working closely with staff to promote the unique qualities of the school.
The school has strong focus on using evidence-informed practices for the teaching of literacy and numeracy, while offering extra-curricular activities. Huskisson Public School prides itself on its involvement in environmental programs and achievements in the sporting, visual arts and performing arts fields.
