Homebush Boys High School

Homebush Boys High School is a comprehensive boys high school (enrolment 1080 students) with a proud tradition of strong academic achievement and excellence in the fields of sport, the creative arts and many extracurricular activities. We are highly multicultural in nature with over 90% of students with a language background other than English. More than 50 cultural and language backgrounds are represented in our school population. We have a focus on maximising student learning outcomes with a continuing commitment to literacy and numeracy. Our school staff is experienced and committed to engaging boys in meaningful learning experiences. We advocate safety, learning and respect in alignment with the values of the Positive Behaviour for Learning program. The school has a strong reputation in the community and continues to build educational networks to further the opportunities for students. The role of our new Librarian will include leading the process of converting our Library into a flexible 21^st century learning space and managing the Accelerator Reader program for Year 7 students.
