Hillsborough Public School has a dedicated and enthusiastic staff, who work closely with our school community to provide high quality education. We actively collaborate to provide all students with a quality education that emphasises excellence, equity and wellbeing. We provide effective evidence-based teaching practices as well as a broad range of technological, cultural, leadership, sporting, performing arts and environmental opportunities.
Our school has a population of 251 students in 10 regular and stage-based classes. Almost nine percent of our students are from Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) backgrounds. We provide differentiated programs that cater for all students.
Community partnerships play an integral role in our activities and school culture. Hillsborough Public School is a proud member of the Cardiff Community of Schools. We work closely with our local community of schools to establish strong and supportive professional learning networks to enhance the quality of teaching and the opportunities available for both staff and students.
