Hallidays Point Public School, (enrolment 295, 12% Aboriginal students) is a semi–rural school located on the Mid-North Coast of NSW. The school has 12 mainstream classes with a dedicated and caring staff of early career and experienced teachers and support staff who provide a broad and balanced curriculum that focuses on developing the whole child. Our Positive Behaviour for Learning expectations of ‘Learning, Caring & Sharing’ support the school’s learning dispositions of being a persistent, resilient, reflective and self-motivated learner. The school is committed to providing students with a child–centred quality education through challenging learning and goal setting. The school’s vision for literacy requires a vibrant library where a passion for reading and research are enriched as well as fostering strong technology skills through coding and robotics. The school has an excellent partnership with, and is supported by, an active and dedicated Parents’ and Citizens’ Association.
