Gymea Bay Public School, located in the southern suburbs of Sydney, has an enrolment of approximately 790 students in 31 classes. Together with staff of the school, it also houses a Vision Team, which supports the needs of students with vision impairment across the Port Hacking, Sutherland and Woronora River Networks.

The school strives for academic, cultural and sporting excellence, offering varied and interesting curricula, with a technology emphasis. The school values community support and has an active and growing P & C. There is an onsite ‘Out of School Hours Care’ centre which provides much needed quality care for students before and after school, and vacation care. Community partnerships see the school being used for a range of extracurricular activities outside of normal hours.

This position will include up to 50 % teaching load, and will commence Term 1, 2021.
