Great Lakes College Senior Campus (GLCSC) is part of the Great Lakes College and caters for Year 11 and Year 12 students. Most students transition to senior campus from the college’s 7-10 Forster and Tuncurry campuses. The senior campus ethos of an Adult Learning and Working Environment (ALWE) and its proud record of high achieving Higher School Certificate (HSC) students, are highly valued by the community.

A quality learning culture focuses on improving teaching as a powerful means of improving student learning, engagement in learning, and wellbeing.   Optimum learning experiences challenge students and maintain high expectations. Students can choose an academic pathway, a general HSC pathway or a non HSC pathway. The school is delivering approximately fifty five HSC courses, of which twenty two are aligned with new NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) syllabuses.

Senior campus shares a site with TAFE NSW Great Lakes, which enables many students to graduate in courses with joint HSC and TAFE accreditation.

Productive relationships, links and partnerships with the wider campus community is achieved through planned, effective communication, facilitated student and parent voice, and promotion of student and campus achievement.
