Gosford Public School is a welcoming, progressive and harmonious school consisting of 546 students of whom over 50% come from a language background other than English. The school is one where students can become confident, resilient and successful learners in a climate of mutual respect. Our highly accomplished and committed teaching staff have diverse backgrounds and a range of experience, specialities and strengths.

Teaching and learning programs are inclusive, innovative and differentiated to ensure successful progression for all students. Gosford Public School recognises and celebrates the abilities and achievements of our students across their academic, creative, performing arts and sporting endeavours. Our school is part of the Gosford Learning Community which includes Point Clare Public School, Henry Kendall High School and Gosford High School.

The school has modern, well-resourced facilities and values the learning opportunities that exist through our shared site with Henry Kendall High School. Gosford Public School encourages engagement with parents and carers by providing regular opportunities for sharing information and planning for the future. The school has an active Parents and Citizens’ Association which has been invaluable in further enhancing the learning environment and facilities of our school. Gosford Public School provides a safe, secure and supportive environment where diversity is valued and students are known, valued and cared for.
