Gorokan High School

Gorokan High School is a partially selective school, student enrolment of 1040, including 182 Aboriginal students, with four Multicategorical classes, one mild intellectual disability class and one behaviour class. It is noted for its successes in promoting Aboriginal, Gifted and Talented education and sport. Gorokan High School has a strong focus on the ‘Stronger Smarter’ philosophy and is implementing a project based learning model in 2019. Our current focus areas are quality teaching, gifted and talented student programs, Aboriginal Education and project based learning.
