Glenwood High School is a 7-12 comprehensive, coeducational high school with an enrolment of approximately 1400 students (including 51% students from a non-English speaking background), including a support unit of 31 students. Established in 2005, the school is a public private partnership with excellent resources and facilities. The school is driven and identified by a strong tradition of excellence, achieved in an innovative, progressive and highly structured teaching and learning environment. The school offers a broad curriculum catering for a diverse group of learners, with a focus on quality teaching, student engagement, emerging technologies, Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and innovative student welfare and leadership. Glenwood High School is defined by high expectations of all students in all areas of their life including their conduct, achievements inside and outside the classroom as well as future aspirations. Student leadership is a driving force and the wider student body has a clear voice through the SRC (Student Representative Council) and their student leaders including Prefects and House Captains. The school enjoys strong parental and community support and has positive links with partner primary schools
