Glen Innes Public School has a current enrolment of 395 students, including 22% Aboriginal students and 2% from a non-English speaking background.
The staff are a highly collaborative team of experienced and early career teachers, who, having high expectations, are committed to improving student learning across a differentiated curriculum through a diverse range of programs.
The school is focused on providing comprehensive, balanced and stimulating learning opportunities within a safe and supportive environment. Student wellbeing is supported by strong student welfare programs including the implementation of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). In addition, students are well supported to pursue sporting and cultural endeavours.
