Fernhill School, located in Glenmore Park and part of the Penrith Principals' Network, is a School for Specific Purpose. Our school opened in January 2017 and now has 95 students across 16 classes, K-12. All students have a moderate or severe intellectual disability, and may have other concurrent disabilities. Our school has created a culture of lifelong learning for all, with staff and parents collaborating to ensure each student has a communication system that empowers them to participate in all areas of life. Staff work as a team to ensure every student is known, valued and cared for each and every day. Working with parents, our staff continually reflects upon student learning, making adjustments and accommodations to maintain high standards for all. The school enjoys the benefit of an enthusiastic P&C.
