The Everyone Matters (Anti-bullying) workshop is suitable for primary (years 1 to 6) and secondary (year 7 to 12) students and we adapt the content to suit the age of the student audience.
Considers how we treat each other; what bullying is and the dangers of cyberbullying. The workshop examines the role of bystanders and practical strategies that prevent bullying. It equips students with tools to understand the causes of bullying and to be proactive in how to respond and seek support. It explores the importance of empathy and healthy communication and learning to appreciate the differences in other people.
Key concepts covered in the session:
The following are messages we want students to learn through the seminar:
- Definition of what “bullying” is (i.e. repeated and deliberate)
- Why it occurs and the different forms of bullying
- Explores the role of the target, bully and bystander
- Practical strategies to cope including assertiveness skills
- The importance of empathy
- Encouraging students to be proactive in seeking advice and helping others
- Cyber-bullying – what it is and strategies that help us to be cyber-safe
- Exploring social networking (age appropriate), and their effects
- That bullying is unacceptable and that students play an important role in creating a safe, bully-free environment at school and online
Student Incursion Details:
- Sessions are interactive and involve a variety of activities, discussion and multi-media to engage and educate.
- We offer a range of options from a single session to several sessions for the same or different groups.
- Tailored to suit your school’s specific needs and flexibility to fit into class timetable. (duration of a seminar approx 60-90 minutes)
- Maximum number of students per seminar is 100 students.
- We travel to regional Victoria up to approx 200km from CBD.

Primary Schools: Prices start at $600 for one seminar at lower grades and range up to $1650 for an entire day with multiple sessions.
Secondary Schools: Prices start at $750 for one seminar and range up to $1800 for an entire day with multiple sessions.
