Dapto Public School

Dapto Public School is a growing school located in the West Dapto Development corridor in southern Wollongong. The school has 740 students (7% Aboriginal, 14% NESB). The school has a proud tradition of success in sports programs and in the Arts. It has recently developed several programs in the area of technology which is embedded into whole school learning. The school prides itself on providing outstanding education for its students. The school has a focus upon developing the skills of literacy and numeracy. The school has a welcoming community and enjoys enormous support from its parents. In 2020 there is significant infra-structure planned to be built at the school, which will add an additional 20 classrooms to the school capacity.
