Dalmeny Public School

Dalmeny Public School is a large P4 school in Prestons, South West Sydney. It has a current enrolment of 1,050 students supported by over 80 fulltime and part time staff.

The Dalmeny Public School community represents a diverse range of cultural backgrounds. The community has 81 different countries of birth registered, and 66 different language background groups recorded. The most common language backgrounds other than English are Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Macedonian and Samoan.

Aboriginal students make up approximately 3 per cent of the Dalmeny Public School population.

The Dalmeny school community embraces its Special Education Unit comprising of multicategorical, IO and Autism classes.
