Cronulla High School is a comprehensive, coeducational high school on the south-eastern outskirts of Sydney, adjacent to Cronulla beaches and part of the Sutherland Shire. The energy and work of staff in building a positive whole school culture and learning environment has ensured that the school is highly valued in the local community. Our school has a well established reputation for outstanding academic, performing and creative arts and sporting achievements and has been awarded the prestigious Director General’s Award for the excellence of our Primary Links program. Enrolments presently sit at 1170 students, including 29 students from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background. There is a combination of experienced and younger teachers all evidencing leadership and working collegially to ensure student wellbeing, student achievement and the continuation of a positive school culture. Our staff are expected to be sophisticated users of ICT in the promotion of effective learning and in school administration. The work of the school is driven by the following three core goals: continually raising expectations, communicating with parents and recognising and rewarding student achievement.
