Cowan Public School is a small K-6 school (enrolment of 44 students) with a teaching principal. The school operates with two permanent mainstream classes and a multi-categorical Support Unit.
The school is situated 15 kilometres north of Hornsby set on the outskirts of Muogamarra Nature Reserve and Ku Ring Gai Chase National Park. The school is part of the local South Mooney Mooney Community of Schools.
Students are encouraged and supported by experienced and dedicated staff. The school provides quality programs with a focus on the development of the ‘whole child’.
