Corrimal Public School is located in the northern suburbs of Wollongong, nestled between the Illawarra Escarpment and Corrimal beach. School enrolments are steadily growing with a current enrolment of 229 students, including 10% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 14% non-English speaking background students.

The school has a focus on continuous improvement, in the areas of literacy and numeracy, through data analysis, professional learning and collaborative practice. Children are at the centre of all our decision making and evidence-based teaching is the core of our professional focus.

Students are provided with opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to become lifelong learners, empowered to manage change and be successful. As a future focus, Corrimal Public School is striving to integrate and embed technology authentically across the curriculum to develop students who are creative and critical problem solvers.

The school organisation promotes teamwork and collaborative decision making. Strong links with the local Community of Schools (COS) exist and parents form a vital part of the whole-school community and are continuously welcomed to participate in school life.
