Coomealla High School is a rural school with an enrollment of 260 students. It is part of the NSW Sunraysia cluster of schools and has close relationships with other local school communities, as well as those in the broader Far West Group of Schools. The school is located in Dareton, NSW and draws from small communities and outlying areas throughout Wentworth Shire. The school enjoys strong community support, including an active P&C body and a local AECG. Coomealla High School together with local community businesses, has redeveloped the Agricultural facility with an aim to provide students with experience across a number of mini-commercial enterprises. Staff work collaboratively and are committed to providing high quality, differentiated learning opportunities for all students, as well as continually developing their own professional learning and skills. Coomealla High School is located 20 minutes from the bustling inland Victorian city of Mildura; four hours from Adelaide; and six hours from Melbourne.
