Condell Park Public School is situated in South-West Sydney. The current enrolment is 592 students from K-6, including 91% from non-English speaking backgrounds. Our teachers have high expectations and they are passionate about providing the best possible outcomes for our students. We have a mixture of experienced and early career teachers. Our school is a community where students, teachers and parents work together to benefit all.
Our school vision is to enable our students to become confident, self-reflective and actively engaged learners, through quality learning experiences. The school priorities are driven by an effective learning culture. Our school implements programs that focus on quality literacy and numeracy with a strong emphasis on building teacher knowledge and skills across the curriculum through explicit, reflective quality teaching systems. We have a high expectations culture where teachers use quality data sources to identify student achievement and progress.
The school offers extensive programs and is part of the Early Action for Success initiative. In 2021, we will have three instructional leaders supporting our community. Teachers and students benefit from rich and ongoing teacher professional learning. We have a wide range of creative extracurricular activities including choir, dance, art, drama and debating. We also have strong PSSA teams.
The school has an active Parents and Citizens Association and numerous significant programs with strong links to the community, including the employment of a community liaison officer.
