Coffs Harbour High School is a comprehensive co-educational school with a FOEI of 109 that includes two special education classes. The school has an enrolment of 914 students including 9.3% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students and 19.4% of students Language Background Other Than English, with the majority of these coming from a refugee background, and 10.7% currently receiving EALD support. The school works collaboratively within the Lighthouse Community of Schools and several primary feeder schools located within Coffs Harbour, Korora and the surrounding areas. A highly skilled and dedicated staff provides a wide range of learning and extra-curricular opportunities for students. There is an active and committed Parents and Citizens’ Association and strong ties to the local Aboriginal community, AECG and members of the local community.
