Centaur Primary School (CPS) provides quality teaching and learning programs for 494 students from the Tweed Heads district, building a P-12 educational partnership with Banora Point High School and surrounding Preschools. The school consists of 26 classes including 4 support classes catering for students with disabilities. CPS has a significant number of students (17.8%) that identify as ATSI. The school draws students from the full range of socioeconomic backgrounds and is a geographical snapshot of families who live in the Tweed Head and Banora Point catchment.
CPS offers a very broad curriculum with unique opportunities for all students to immerse themselves in diverse learning experience to achieve personal success for all. With ‘Future Focused’ learning spaces and a ‘Critical Thinking’ mindset our students are being prepared for what lies ahead and are ready to take on any challenge.
